Created on May 25, 1981, the 630-million-acre (2,500,000 km2) Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) comprises the Persian Gulf states of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. GCC economies are now recovering and growth this year is likely to average 4.4 per cent and then rise to 4.7 per cent in 2011, following just 0.3 per cent growth in 2009, the Institute of International Finance (IIF) has forecast.
Martec Bund Corporation will enhance Martec’s campaign for establishing the HIR method in road maintenance as the most economical, effective and clean alternative to costly conventional repaving techniques. The AR2000 will continue paving the way to a greener future – now in the GCC region.
